Morris Joinery
WEBSITE REDESIGN
Morris Joinery needed a website redesign as it had not been updated for five years. We had already undertaken redesigns for other sites under the corporate brand and needed to bring Joinery into alignment.
This project first involved looking at every page on the site and establishing what content was relevant or not. During this initial stage, it was important for us to keep SEO and SERPs in mind. We made sure we kept the well-performing pages and included high-ranking keywords in the new copy.
Following the initial review, I got to work on the new content. I created a new site map, wrote new copy, and changed all the imagery. I also commissioned a photographer and videographer to provide fresh new content to match the new design.
The site was built on a different CMS than the other brands which meant we couldn’t simply lift and shift. When redesigning the site, I worked closely with a designer and web developer to ensure everything we wanted was possible.
The website redesign was well received by the team at Morris Joinery and traffic to the site increased following go-live.
